HOW IT WORKED
BEFORE THE SHOW
Audiences would tune into a Youtube Live stream to hear prerecorded dialogue, scoring, and theatrical effects piped into their car. Actors wore headphones in order to gesticulate along to the Youtube Live track as well listen to the stage manager for cues.
DURING THE SHOW
r/TheRedPill was entirely lit by car headlights, strategically placed and embellished with gels around the lot.
AS IT ENDED
As the live actors disappear, The Youtube Live stream plays a Zoom call that takes place the morning after the events of the play.
